Symptom
When using the "Add Learning History for Multiple Courses" feature to record completion for more than one class and clicking on "Auto Fill From Registration", all users receive completion for all classes, regardless of their actual registration.
Environment
SAP SuccessFactors Learning
Reproducing the Issue
- Log into HCM > navigate to Learning Administration >
- Create two classes with different time slots >
- Register different users in each class >
- Navigate to Manage User Learning > Add Learning History for Multiple Courses >
- Add both classes >
- Select "Auto Fill From Registration" and click "Next" >
- Expand the list for each class and observe that all users appear for both classes, instead of only the users registered for each specific class.
Resolution
As per the Engineering team, this behavior is expected. The "Auto Fill From Registration" feature is an easy way to select all users associated with the classes, with no mapping maintained between classes and users.
Therefore, all classes added for recording completion will be registered to all users in the list. If it is necessary to record completion only for users registered in a specific class, it is possible by by selecting and processing one class at a time.
