2740877 - Microsoft Word Templates Doesn't Open In Office 2010 And Later

You downloaded a Microsoft Office Word template from SAP Cloud For Customer to edit it, but when you try to open the file with your Microsoft Word 2010 or later, it gives you an error.

 

We're sorry. We can't open file.docx because we found a problem with its contents. Microsoft Office cannot open this file because some parts are missing or invalid.

1. Go to Administrator Work Center.
2. Go to Business Flexibility tab.
3. Go to Microsoft Office Template Maintenance.
4. Select a Word template (e.g. Create and Upload Letter).
5. Click on the Download button.
6. Try to open the file with Microsoft Word 2010 or later.

Word Export templates are based on XML tags and from Office 2010 onwards, Microsoft no longer support XML tags in Word documents.
