2741910 - Purchase Order not available in the service agent time sheet

An external resource, Service Agent: 123 (123 represents the Service Agent name), was ordered for a customer project with a sales integration. 123 is also a Company Employee with the same ID/ name.

SAP Business ByDesign

There are two options to reproduce this issue:

1. Go to the Time Administration Work Center.
2. Go to the Employee Time Records and find Employee 123.
3. Click Edit and Go to the Employee Times sub tab.
4. Choose the Entry date.
5. Go to the sub tab Labor Information.
6. You are not able to see any Purchase Order Information here OR you are not able a select any Purchase order.
   however
7. Go to the Project management Work Center.
8. Go to the Projects view.
9. Select All Projects and find XYZ (XYZ represents the Project name).
10. Click Edit -> Projects Plan.
11. Go to the Products tab.
12. Go to the Purchase Orders sub-tab.
13. You can see here the assigned Purchase Order XYZ.

The Project configuration which is linked with the Sales Order was configured incorrectly. Time Recording is set as "not allowed", which needs to be changed. By making the change, we can expect the Purchase Order to be defaulted for Employee 123.

In our scenario, the Service Agent 123 is also an Employee.

The Project Manager cannot open "Edit Time Sheet" for Service Agents who are not Employees, because the "Time Sheet" is limited for internal employees. Employee 123 is an Internal employee with a role as Service Agent due to project assignment. Therefore, the Project Manager has that option.

1. Go to the Project management Work Center.
2. Go to the Projects view.
3. Select All Projects and find XYZ.
4. Click Edit Projects Plan.
5. Scroll Down to the Basic Data Sub tab.
6. Change the field "Time Recording" to "Approval Required" or "No Approval Required".
7. You should now be able to see the assigned Purchase Order XYZ for Service Agent 123.
