2742020 - Error when sending Offer Letters

Symptom

Users receive error message 'Error encountered while sending Offer Letter' when sending Offer Letters to Applicants

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting All versions

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to 'Take Action' -> 'Offer Letter'
  2. Select offer letter template -> Next
  3. Select 'Send'
  4. Receive Error message 'Error encountered while sending Offer Letter'

Cause

Possible cause of error message

  • Invalid e-mail address configured for one of the users
  • Extra space at end of the email address [saptest@sap.com ]

Resolution

  • Please check all e-mail addresses in the 'To' and 'CC' sections are valid
  • Make sure that there is no extra space at the end of e-mail addresses.
