2742166 - RepServer crashed after getting 1204 errors (out-of-locks) on the RSSD - SRS

Symptom

Following errors reported in the SAP Replication Sever (SRS) log:

  • ERROR #14023 REP AGENT(SERVER1.SERVER1_RSSD) - neric/exec/execint.c(542)
            SQM had an error writing to the inbound-queue.
     
  • ERROR #13116 USER( ) - neric/useful/cmapp.c(1470)
            The function <RCIGetInfo()> failed when trying to communicate with server and database <'SERVER1'.'SERVER1_RSSD'> as user <SERVER1_RSSD_prim>.

  • ERROR #1028 USER( ) - neric/useful/cmapp.c(1470)
            Message from server: Message: 1204, State 2, Severity 17 -- 'ASE has run out of LOCKS. Re-run your command when there are fewer active users, or contact a user with System Administrator (SA) role to reconfigure ASE with more LOCKS.
     
  • Thread USER(dba) infected with signal 11.
    Dumping context structure:

    ccr = 0p
    npc = 69945cp
     
  • The SRS went down because of the signal 11.

  • On the ASE RSSD Server many:
    Error: 1204, Severity: 17, State: 2 occurred for User 'SERVER1_prim'. Client IP address is 'XXX.XXX.XX.XXX'.
