2742229 - Definition of job SWEQSRV is incomplete. Operation is not possible

Symptom

  • Workflow job SWEQSRV is scheduled by SWU3 (node 'Schedule Background Job for Event Queue ') or transaction SWEQADM (tab 'Background Job').
  • In SM37, the job has status 'Scheduled' and when trying to release the job, the following error is raised:
    "Definition for job SWEQSRV is incomplete. Job cannot be released (Message no. BT181)"
  • The same behavior may also occurs to other workflow jobs such as SWW_EXECUTE_DYNAMIC_ACTIONS or SWWERRE.
