2742333 - Error: “Test recipient e-mail address is missing in business configuration” While Generating Password for the Business Users

Your requirement is to generate password for the Business User. When you generate the password, system throws the error:

SAP Cloud for Customer

1. Go to Administrator work center.
2. Go to Business Users view.
3. Find the Business User.
4. Select the button Actions and choose Generate Password.
5. You receive the error.

In Business Configuration work center, in the fine-tuning activity E-mail and Fax settings, you have chosen to Send all e-mails/faxes to this address but the recipient e-mail address is not maintained. You may follow the below steps to check in your system:

1. Go to Business Configuration work center.
2. Select Implementation Projects view or Overview.
3. Search and Open the activity E-Mail and Fax Settings.
4. Select E-Mail and Fax Settings.
5. In the section E-Mail and Fax Delivery in a Non-Productive System, you have chosen Send all e-mails to this address, but the e-mail address is not maintained.

When you have chosen the option Send all e-mails to this address, maintain the e-mail address in the field.

Note:

1. 1. In a productive system, e-mails and faxes are always sent to real addresses of business partners, regardless of the settings you make in the E-mail and Fax Settings. However, we strongly recommend that you choose Send all e-mails/faxes to this address and, if possible, enter an address used for testing purposes. This will prevent e-mails and faxes being sent inadvertently to real addresses, in case this tenant is copied to a non-productive system later where these settings would apply.
2. In a non-productive system you can specify whether e-mails and faxes should be sent to real addresses of business partners or to an address used for testing purposes. If you choose Send all e-mails/faxes to this address, enter the address to be used for testing purposes.

Below is the significance of the options chosen in E-Mail and Fax Delivery in system:1. Send all e-mails to business partners

1. Upon choosing this option, it is possible that the business documents that are created for test purpose are sent out the respective Business Partners. This setting is valid for all the e-mail correspondence from the system.
2. Send all e-mails to this address.

If you choose this option, you have to maintain an e-mail address in the field. Upon choosing this option, all the emails will be received at the specified e-mail address.
