Symptom

This document explaines about the 3 options present in the Contact section of Download Contacts

Environment

Groupware Outlook Add-in

Reproducing the Issue

  • Click Settings button in the Outlook Addin ribbon
  • You will see 3 options available below the "Download Contacts" button

Resolution

  1. Keep contacts synchronized – keeps contact up to date with changes made in C4C (for entries downloaded via checkbox #3)
  2. Download only the contacts with whom I have established relationships - Downloads will only return contacts where the logged in user has a relationship maintained via “Relationships” facet to a Contact. The relationship can be of any type, including Z (custom) relationships. If this is unchecked (default), contacts returned are the same as the ‘My Contacts’ query.
  3. Always copy contacts  - Copies any contact information that appears in the SAP Cloud for Customer sidebar into your SAP Cloud for Customer contacts folder automatically.
