Symptom

When extracting data from a standard ECC table STXL with column CLUSTD with a data type of LRAW and charachter length of 7902 job fails with error:

  • RFC CallReceive error <Function /SAPDS/ABAP_RUN: RFC_ABAP_MESSAGE- Data Services read error.Check Data Services error[SAP NWRFC 721][SAP Partner 702 ][CPD][ndlsseaps1][USERNAME][4102]>.
  • Data flow DF_NAME | Reader TABLE_STXLL: RFC function error <RFC_NOT_SUPPORTED- Field type is a RFCTYPE_XSTRING>.
