2742702 - No inspection lot is created during goods movement despite active inspection type in Material Master

Symptom

  • No inspection lot is created during goods movement, although there is an active inspection type for the corresponding lot origin in Quality Management tab of the Material Master.
  • Error message 'Change the inspection stock of material & in QM only' (message QA495) is raised in transaction MIGO or VL02N, and material document cannot be posted.
