2743077 - Search bar Does not Contain the Option to Search by People in Company Structure Overview

When using the Search bar in Company Structure Overview, People Search is not available

Employee Central -  Company Structure Overview

• Navigate to 'Company Structure Overview' 
• Choose a Company Structure
• Cannot Search by People

As outlined in the handbook here, if your company structure overview has at least one visible field of type User, or at least one object for which Referencing Job Information Field has been maintained, People Search should be available.

You can ensure that a reference to a Job Info field is maintained from Manage Data -> Company Structure UI Configuration and checking the 'Details' tab of the Company Structure in question

In the case below, the Business View is referencing the division Job Info field

You must also ensure that the layout of the Company Structure contains a valid side panel, as well as maintaining the Visible user fields value. You can check if a User field has been maintained by doing the following:

Configure Object Definition -> Job Info Reference Object (division in this case) -> find the User field ('headOfUnit' in this case) -> Details -> Ensure the 'Visibility' field is maintained as at least Read Only.

Then, when navigating back to Company Structure Overview, the option to search by people will be available.
