You want to know how task authorized observers list  is sorted.

SAP SuccessFactors Learning Management System (LMS)

1. Assign a task to a user. (Task should have 'Observers must be Authorized Instructors' checked in the Task Checklist Settings.)
2. From the User Learning Plan, click 'REQUEST OBSERVATION'.
3. Observe how the sorting of the 'Select from these authorized observers:' list.

By default, the list is sorted by Instructor First Name, then Instructor Last Name, then Instructor Middle Name, then User ID, in ascending order.

However, if the user selects an instructor and deselects it afterwards, that instructor will go to the last in the list.

This is why the list sometimes seems to be sorted randomly.
