2743876 - Unit of Measure is not allowed for Pay Component.

A Customer is trying to insert a Recurring Deduction record to Employee and gets this error "Unit of Measure is not allowed for Pay Component XXXXXX"

SuccessFactors Employee Central Recurring Deductions.

1. Go to People Profile Page of the Employee.

2. Insert a Recurring Deduction record by clicking the pencil button of the Recurring Deduction Portlet.

3. Fill out the following fields such as Pay Component, Amount, Unit of Measure, Currency....etc.

The reason why this error shows up when saving the transaction is because the pay component being used which is "PRODUES" is of Pay Component Type = Amount, if the Pay Component Type is of Amount or Percentage it is not necessary to put value to the Unit of Measure field. If the  Pay Component Type of a Pay Component is Number then the Unit of Measure that is configured in the Pay Component should be the Unit of Measure that should  be used when inserting the record for Recurring Deduction.
