2743912 - Notification turned off at item level but user still receives notification - Learning Management System(LMS)

Users are still receiving the Learning expiration notification even if the settings have been disabled at item level

SAP SuccessFactors Learning

1. Create items and make sure that the Notifications are turned off for the expiration and overdue settings

2. Create a Requirement and add these items to the pool of items for the requirement

3. Add the Requirement to a Curricula

4. Assign the curricula to the user

5. Once the APM run, users will still receive the expiration notification even if the settings are disabled at item level

This is an expected behavior.

• As per our Engineering team, the email received: "Last Name, First Name; User ID- has a requirement for requirement REQUIREMENT ID, 1 items from item pool for curriculum CURRICULUM ID(Curriculum Title) due on Due Date" is for the curriculum and not for item.
• This notification sent is to complete the curriculum and curriculum will not have any settings to disable the notification. 
• Customer have disabled the notifications at item level and item level overdue notifications will not be sent.
• Should you wish to have an option to disable the system to send out the notification for the curriculum you may raise your idea to our Idea Portal.  
• You may propose to have this functionality modified in the future versions of the Learning Management System(LMS) by posting your suggestion to the Idea Submission Tool.
• We highly suggest that you include a business case so that our Product Management team (who monitors the portal) can better understand the benefit of having such functionality implemented in the product. You may follow the KBA below to submit an enhancement request: 2090228
