2745007 - New Description Doesn't Appear on The Sales Document

You have entered an item on your sales document, but the new description maintained before, is not being shown on the sales document.

Checking the Sales Order.

1. Go to Sales Orders work center.
2. Select the Sales Orders view.
3. Search for the Sales Orders document ABC (ABC represents your Sales Orders Document ID).
4. Click on Edit and View All button.
5. Navigate to Items tab.
6. Enter the Product EFG (EFG represents your Product ID).

Result: The system is bringing the old description instead of the new one.

There are 3 material descriptions for this product in the system.

Each one is created for a different language, English, Spanish and German. As the account language is Spanish, the product description language which would be picked up is Spanish.

The product description for this language probably was not changed and remains the old one.

This is the reason why you are still seeing the old description.

1. Go to Product and Service Portfolio work center.
2. Search for the Product ID EFG. 
3. Click on Edit and View All button.
4. Navigate to the General tab.
5. Navigate to the Other languages sub tab.
6. You will see that there are other languages maintained and these have the old product description.
7. Change the description to the desired one and save the product details.

With this action would be able to see the correct description on the Sales Document.
