2745383 - Hide Development Tab from Homepage Menu - Career Development Planning

Career Development Planning module is enabled in the instance but you would like to hide the 'Development' tab from the homepage menu for some users.

You can permission who has access to the main Development tab.

1. Go to Admin Center > Manage Permission Roles > [Select the permission role].
2. Click Permission...
3. In Career Development Planning, uncheck the permission "Career Development Plan (CDP) Access Permission".
4. Click Done and Save Changes.

For customers who do not want to use the Development plan, but do wish to use other CDP features, such as; Career Worksheet, Career path, Mentoring, then the 'Development Plan V12' can be disabled in provisioning. As long as permissions are correctly set up for the other features then clicking on the Development module will land users on the Career Worksheet - and/or other enabled features:

Note: disabling the Development Plan, means that it will no longer be possible to report on, or view any development data. It will also not be possible to use Development goals anywhere in the system. For example; in PM forms/ Employee Profile/ Succession.
