Symptom
When creating a new Insurance or editing an exisitng on in Benefits Admin Overview, the drop down for Insurance Type field is empty.
Environment
SuccessFactors Employee Central: Global Benefits
Cause
Incorrect configurations.
Resolution
Make sure that picklist "insuranceType" is maintained as Valid Value Source for the field "insuranceType" in Configure Object Definitions > Benefit. Also, verify that this picklist is Active and has values in Configure Object Definitions > Picklist > insuranceType.
If the above configurations are maintained correctly, then navigate to Manage Configuration UI > BenefitConfigUI > Click on the Pencil icon beside the field "insuranceType" > Click on the drop down of Value Type Resolver > Select "Insurance Type" > Ok > Save. Now create an Insurance or edit an exisiting one and you should get the drop down values in the "Insurance Type" field.
