2747214 - Not Able to Edit Opportunity Document Type

Symptom

You create a new Opportunity, however once the document is created you are not able to edit the Document Type.

Environment

SAP Cloud for Customer

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to the Sales work center.
  2. Go to the Opporunities view.
  3. Click on New.
  4. Enter the Document Type ABC (ABC represent the document type) and the mandatory information.
  5. Click on Save and Open.
  6. Click on Edit.
  7. The field Document Type is read only.

Resolution

This is the standard behavior of the system.
 
If you need the functionality to edit the Opportunity Document Type urgently you may contact your implementation manager to help with such request or approach directly the SAP Cloud Service Center.
