2747494 - Error "Failed to save entries. Change group table locked" while saving in SSCUI

Symptom

While saving in a SSCUI, the following message appears:

"Failed to save entries. Change group table locked

Message no. 00398"

Environment

S/4HANA Cloud

Cause

The "Change group table locked" message appears, in case multiple users or applications try to save data at the same time to the same source. This issue is more frequently during testing phase as many users are testing at the same time.

Resolution

In case another user is already in process of updating in the same country solution, wait till the update by the other user is completed and try again.

On the other hand avoid saving data in different applications simoultaneously.
