2747809 - Error 16029 and core file while starting repserver - SRS

Symptom

  • FATAL ERROR #1030 GLOBAL RS(GLOBAL RS) ... Open Server error: Error: 16029, State: 0, Severity 20 -- 'Failed to start any network listeners'.
  • After failing over in Veritas Cluster Server (VCS), repserver terminated and produced a core file
  • Stack trace contained the following modules:

    linux_dump_all_func_stack
    dbg_dump_stack_noarg
    exc__appDumpStack
    exc_terminate
    err_handle_srverr
    srv__seterr
    srv__start_net
    srv_run
    rs_main
    main
    /lib64/libc.so.6(__libc_start_main+...)
