2748101 - Description is Missing After Importing Services Using Migration of Services Activity

Symptom

You have migrated Services using the Migration of Sevices activity, howver after the migration you find the description for the imported Serivces is not visible.

Environment

SAP Business ByDesign

Reproducing the Issue

Go to Business Configuration workcenter
Select Overview view
Search and open the Activity : Migration of Services
Select Migrate Services using the Migration Tool
Upload the file and execute Import

Cause

The issue is occurring because in the migration template under Detailed Description sheet, you have filled the Language as DE and you are logged in with some other or vise a versa.

*DE stands for language Deustche

Resolution

In case you want the description of Services to be visible in multiple language, you may enhance the imported records using the enhance mode following the below steps:

Go to Business Configuration work center
Select Overview view
Search and open the Activity : Migration of Services
Select Migrate Services using the Migration Tool
Select properties button and change to Enhance Existing Records
Select the button You May Also
Select Download Migration Template
Enter the data in Other Language sheet with required language
Upload the template and execute Import
