Symptom

Periodically, customers may experience an assertion failure in module st_txncb.cxx with a stack trace similar to the following:

 .. hos_assertexception::ThrowException ..
 .. st_txncb::UnRegisterCursor ..
 .. st_txnMgr::UnRegisterCursor ..
 .. st_connection::UnRegisterCursor ..

This failure may occur more frequently in MPX environments.
