2748503 - Error "BW_BICS_EQ/120" "Filter with NE is not supported" appears when trying to show List Of value for one dimension in query built on Import S/4HANA connection in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)

• Error "BW_BICS_EQ/120" "Filter with NE is not supported" appears when trying to show List Of value for one dimension in query built on Import S/4HANA connection in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) 

• SAP Analytics Cloud 2019.2.2

1. Log on to SAC tenant.
2. Create one model on Import S/4HANA connection.
3. Create a new query.
4. Search for the problematic CDS View and then click Next.
5. In Build Query panel, drag the problematic dimension into Filters and then try to open Select Values From dialog.
   => Error appears so the dialog cannot be opened to selected value for filtering.
   => Error details: "code":"BW_BICS_EQ/120","message":{"lang":"ja","value":"Filter with NE is not supported"}

• When clicking on the "LIST OF VALUES" button, it sends an odata query to the CDS view asking for all the NOT NULL values.
  Example: "https://<odata_server_url>/..../<odata service>?$select=<dimension>&$filter=<dimension> ne null"
• However, the problematic CDS View doesn't support NE operator. So the error "BW_BICS_EQ/120" is thrown from S/4HANA system.

Workaround: input the value directly in the filter, if you know the value you want to filter on.
