2748511 - Activities are not Copied to the Follow-on Document

When copying an opportunity, you find activities are not copied to the new created opportunity.

SAP Cloud for Customer all Versions

1. Go to the Sales work center.
2. Go to the Opportunities view.
3. Open an opportunity.
4. Click on Action>>Copy.
5. You find activities are not copied to the new created opportunity.

Activities are specific to the current document and there is no functional use case for it to be copied over to a follow-on document.

The same behavior when you convert a lead to opportunity with an activity, you would see all details except activities are copied.

This is the expected system behavior.

As workaround, you can add the activities manually if needed.
