2748932 - The Document Type Description Is Not Displayed on Sales Order Preview

The document type description is not displayed on sales order preview.

SAP Cloud for Customer

1. Go to the Sales work center.
2. Go to the Sales Orders work view.
3. Open the sales order 123 (123 represents the sales order ID).
4. Click on Actions button.
5. Click on Preview.

Result: The document type description has not been shown up on the document.

The field FormQuote-ProcessingTypeName has not defined on the current form template.

Follow the steps described below to add the document type description on the form:

1. Go to the Administrator work center.
2. Go to the Business Flexibility work view.
3. Select Form Template Maintenance sub-work view.
4. Search the Sales Order form template.
5. Select the form template.
6. Click on Open button and select Easy Form Editor.
7. Select the section that where the document type should be maintained.
8. Click on Add Field under Details.
9. Expand FormQuoteNotification.
10. Expand FormQuote.
11. Select ProcessingTypeName.
12. Click on Save and the Document Type description should appear on the Preview Sample Data.
