2748978 - AP hints are stripped off in statement cache for dynamically prepared statements - SAP ASE 16.0

Symptom

  • ASE strips off plan hints from a SQL statement before the statement is stored in SQL statement cache.
  • This seems to be done for dynamically prepared statements.
  • This used to work in previous ASE versions - but at least for 16.0 SP02 PL04 , PL05 and PL06 I observed the behaviour
