2748981 - SAP Cloud Platform HANA database restore old database revision

Symptom

In SAP Cloud Platform, for the HANA Service in NEO environment there are backups kept for 14 days which can be restored upon request.
The query is whether it is possible to downgrade database version using a restore operation using backup taken before database update to new revision takes place.
