2749131 - Appeared a significant increase in the amount of I/O read writes on their IQ Main dbfiles since upgrading to SAP IQ16.1 -- SAP IQ

Symptom

A customer reporting seeing a significant increase in the amount of I/O read writes on their IQ Main dbfiles since upgrading some customer systems. The issue has been seen on IQ 16.1 after upgrading from SP02.08  to SP02.11  and also on IQ 16.0 SP11 systems recently upgraded to PL20.  Workload and data load volumes have not changed.

They urgently need to find out what's causing this as it is blocking roll out of their  IQ upgrades.   The main issue is that its affecting
their SAN snapshot retention period.  The increases in I/O activity means the they are only able to retain the last 5 hours of activity ,
a significantly smaller window than before posing a great risk to their recovery capabilities.

  - Read Write volumes are about the same
  - Grab Dirty is a little lower.
  - Hit% rates are fine

We are awaiting further more detailed comparison data to analyse.
