Environment

  • SAP Business ByDesign
  • SAP Cloud for Customer

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to the work center Business Analytics.
  2. Select the view Design Data Sources (if you are previewing a data source) or Design Reports (If you are running a report).
  3. Open the data source or report.
  4. Set the required variables and execute.

The above error is displayed.

Cause

The involved data source is handling too much data.

Resolution

You will need to reduce the data volume that this report and data source are handling. The easiest way to do so is to set more variables in the selection. However, if the data source is a joined one, it may also be necessary to adjust the data source design to optimize the performance. Please request your implementation partner to assist you with this if required.
