Symptom

Alter database set snapshot_isolation on for all tables command appears to fail with error 1871 State 25 but tables in the database may wrongly become row caching/ MVCC or ODMVCC enabled anyway

Example:

Msg 1871, Level 16, State 25:
Line 1:
ALTER DATABASE failed. Database 'db' does not have IMRSLOG defined.
