Symptom
How to make the position count visible/hidden in Career Worksheet?
Image/Data in this KBA is from SAP internal systems, sample data, or demo systems. Any resemblance to real data is purely coincidental.
Environment
- SAP SuccessFactors Career Development Planning
- SAP SuccessFactors Career Worksheet
Reproducing the Issue
Here is where the Position Count is located in Career Worksheet page:
Resolution
[Internal, requires access to Provisioning. If no access to provisioning, please engage with Implementation Partner or Product Support]
Pre-requisite:
"True Position Hierarchy" needs to be enabled in Provisioning.
Career Worksheet XML code:
Under the code </obj-plan-due> Add this script: on for hide, off for show. If not defined in XML, default value is "off".
<switches>
<switch for="hide-position-count" value="on" />
</switches>
Notes:
- Position count only works for Legacy Position Nomination Method (where data source is: Admin Center > Succession > Position management: Export Positions). Any vacant/open/TBH Position stored in MDF Position is not counted in this area, as Career Worksheet does not support MDF.
- Score/Count is determined for number vacant/TBH Positions (no incumbent) for the mapped job role (+1 for every TBH Position).
