SAP Knowledge Base Article - PublicSymptom
Customer is using a third party application to create the data for the following objects.
- OneTimeDeduction
- RecurringDeduction and RecurringDeductionItem
However, integrating these objects via ODATA only allows read only to SuccessFactors.
Hence, automation from external system cannot be completed.

Environment
- SAP SuccessFactors - Employee Central
- OData API
- SAP SuccessFactors - Employee Central Deductions
Reproducing the Issue
1. Login to BizX.
2. Go to Admin Center > Integration Center.
3. Select Create New Scheduled CSV File Input Integration
4. Search for OneTimeDeduction, RecurringDeduction, or RecurringDeductionItem
System will have a message of: Supported Operations: ***This entity supports no write operations. It is a read only Entity Type.***
Cause
This is a Product limitation and Product Management is aware of this.
Due to complex architecture changes to implement this, there is no definite date yet when this will be available.
Our engineering team already start the work internally (ECT-132834).
Resolution
Manual Import the Files to SuccessFactors by performing the steps from the following KBAs.
