Symptom
After upgrade -- in two examples (it could be in any upgrade situation), Errors reported both on HG and FP indexes.
- from 15.4 to 16.1 SP03
- from 16.0 SP11 PL23 to 16.0 SP11 PL24
When a corruption was detected on a table, a drop table and/or rebuild tables recieves the following errors:
drop table DBA.mytable;
Msg 21, Level 14, State: 0
SQL anywhere Error -1009039, main Bufman: An error was detected on a database page. You may have a damaged index. For additional information, please check your IQ message file or run sp_iqcheckdb.
