2752282 - Identity Authentication - How to interpret Password Policies assigned to users

Symptom

Password Policies of Identity Authentication (IAS) are assigned to applications described in the SAP Help Documentation: Configuring Password Policies. However, there are different Password Policies assigned to single users.

  • One user has Standard password policy ("https://accounts.sap.com/policy/passwords/sap/web/1.0")
  • Another user has Enterprise password policy (https://accounts.sap.com/policy/passwords/sap/enterprise/1.0) for example:
