2752606 - Unable to create Data Services repository on Oracle during installation - SAP Data Services

Symptom

  • Unable to create a repository during the installation of Data Services
  • Recieve the error message: "The database connection has failed. Please make sure your connection parameters are correct, and that you are using a valid, supported ODBC driver version, and then try again."
  • Then the following error message appears: "The specified Data Services repository information is invalid. Specify valid Data Services repository information."
  • Clicking on "Get Version" provides the following error message: "The specified database does not contain a valid repository."
