Symptom
When consulting my Jobs Status Report, or the offers status on my interface, I can notice that some jobs are encountering configuration errors. What shall I do?
Environment
SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting Posting
Cause
Configuration errors can be generated for several reasons:
- Your credentials for the related job board have changed. Hence, when our system tried to use these credentials to post your jobs, they were not recognized anymore by the job board and the offer was rejected.
- Your credentials for the job board are missing: for some reason, there are no credentials stored in our system for the related job board.
- You are running out of job board credits: you have used all the credits allocated to your job board contract.
Resolution
Depending on the reason why your offer is encountering a configuration error, you will need to:
- Create a new configuration in the case where it's missing
- Update the existing configuration if your credentials have changed
- Reach out to your job board Sales contact to contract new credits, and update your credits counter onto your Recruiting Posting interface.
-
Important point: Since Recruiting Posting September 2023 Release, customer are now able to click "remove error" button for "Invalid Configuration" if the issue is impacting the entire configuration of a job board. Prior to this release, the remove error button was available only for invalid configuration on the single posting.
In case of credits error, the administrator needs to confirm with the job board first that an active contract is valid before trying to remove the error from the "Manage Recruiting Posting" interface.
