Symptom

While configuring System Replication on SAP HANA Cockpit for a Muliti-Tenant Database (MDC) system :

the HANA cockpit administrator encountered the following type of errors :

  • Error : "No data backup exists. Perform a data backup before system replication can be enabled."
  • Error : "No data backup exists. Perform a data backup before system replication can be enabled. There are tenant databases without a backup"
  • Warning : "System replication is not yet enabled for this system. There are tenant databases without a backup."
