2754466 - Can we customize the absence notification triggered by the Intelligent services?

You have configured Intelligent Services for absences, which triggers a notification via the 'Trigger Worker Absence Event()' every time an employee requests a Leave.

However, you have noticed that the text of the notification always follows the same pattern: "Your Employee, [NAME], will be taking Leave of Absence from [START-DATE] to [END-DATE]"

In your scenario you would need that instead of "Leave of Absence", the message displays the Time Type name.

Expected behavior.

The message used in this notification is hard-coded, which means that you can't change how the message is created and displayed. If you require this message to be editable, please check KBA 2090228 for instructions how to create an Enhancement Request.

As a workaround, you can create a Business Rule, as illustrated on KBA 2352634 to display a custom notification according to your business needs.
