2754515 - When using Kerberos authentication login, backup of in-memory databases fails - SAP ASE

Symptom

  • Environment variable MALLOC_CHECK_ is set to 2.
  • Backup of an in-memory database fails when using single sign-on.  
  • Backup Server error message:

Backup Server: 5.16.2.2: Client-Library error: Error number 44, Layer 4, Origin 1, Severity 4: ct_connect(): protocol specific layer: external error: The attempt to connect to the server failed.
Msg 8009, Level 16, State 1:
Server 'myASE', Line 1:
Error encountered by Backup Server.  Please refer to Backup Server messages for details.
