2754639 - Error Message "CSV Header is Blank. Maintain a Header" While Creating a New Template in the Data Workbench

You are receiving the error message below while trying to create a new template in the Data Workbench:
"CSV header is blank. Maintain a header"

SAP Cloud for Customer

1. Go to the Data Workbench work center.
2. Then go to the Migration Template tab.
3. Click on Create button.
4. Select the required Object.
5. Click on Next.
6. Then click on Browse and select the CSV file.
7. Click on Upload.
8. System will show the mentioned error message.

The error message is occurring because the fields in the CSV file are as UI Text instead of Technical Name.

It is recommended to use the field as Technical Name in order to avoid discrepancies in the field name. To fix this scenario, kindly follow the steps below:

1. Go to the Data Workbench work center.
2. Go to the Export tab.
3. Select the required Object and filter a record to export.
4. Click on Next.
5. In the next screen, maintain the option "Export Data to CSV File with fields as" as Technical Name.
6. Click on Export Data.
7. Go to the Monitor tab and download the exported file.
8. Edit the headers of the downloaded file as you desire and then import it in the Migration Templates tab again.
