2754640 - How is Delivery address determined in Project Purchase Request

Why Ship To location is not being determined automatically in the Project Purchase Request creation screen

1. Go to Project Management Work Center.
2. Go to Projects View.
3. Search and open Project ABC (ABC represents the ID of the Project).
4. Click on Edit > Products.
5. Select the respective products and click on Create Purchase Request.

Ship to location is not being automatically determined.

The ship to location (site) is not referenced to the project. Even if there is only one location in the system it is not possible to see if the delivery address is determined by end buyer(Customer)  or recipient or from ship to location. So system does not default anything but give the user possibility to enter a location.

When a Project Purchase Request is created, the delivery address is derived from fields 1st  is Recipient ,  second is Customer  and  finally ship-to location.

You have to enter ship-to location manually and then delivery address will be taken from the location.
