2756232 - Guidelines For Company Logo in SAP Business ByDesign

Symptom

When uploading a company logo in an SAP Business ByDesign tenant, there are no specific guidelines regarding the supported image size and dimensions.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Log on to SAP Business ByDesign as a Key User.
  2. Navigate to Home Work Center.
  3. Open My Launchpad View.
  4. Select the profile picture.
  5. Choose Key User Settings.
  6. Select Start Adaptation Mode.
  7. Right-click the home page background.
  8. Select Change Company Logo.
  9. A file selector window opens without displaying specific guidelines for the supported image size or dimensions.

Resolution

Below are the guidelines for SAP Business ByDesign company logo:

  • The image must be less than 1MB in size.
  • Images larger than 60px in height will be resized. Height will be resized to 60px, width will be resized proportionally.
  • Images smaller than or equal to 60px in height will not be resized.
  • Recommended image height is 48px.
  • Recommended image width is less than 300px.
