2756470 - Product is Not Copied to the Follow-Up Sales Quote from Lead

You have accepted a lead and want to create follow-up sales quote from it. But in the new sales quote screen, you find the product information is not copied.

SAP Business ByDesign all versions.

1. Go to the New Business work center.
2. Go to the Leads view.
3. Select one lead and click Follow Up - New Sales Quote.
4. In the new quote screen, you find the product line(s) are not copied from the lead.

This is due to the error on the sales quote that sales unit is not determined by system. The error says: Organizational data missing &Party with role Sales Unit missing. You need to ensure that system could determine the sales unit.

There are 2 ways to fulfill the sales unit automatically in the follow-up sales quote from lead.

A. Maintain the Organizational Work Distrubitoin rules for Sales Unit for Sales.

B. Maintian the Sales Unit in the Involved Parties tab in the lead.

1. Go to the New Business work center.
2. Go to the Leads view.
3. Edit the lead and go to Involved Parties tab - Sales team sub tab.
4. Click Add Raw and maintain a sales unit to the lead.
5. Click Save.
