- Many 1608 errors may be reported to the errorlog, even under normal conditions, as users terminate their client without formally quitting (i.e. killing the client, powering down the client host, etc.)
- Some DBAs have stated that they do not wish to see this error reported in the errorlog.
Example:
"A client process exited abnormally, or a network error was encountered. Unless other errors occurred, continue processing normally."
