2757054 - Standard and Custom Generic Objects associated in CRM Talent Pools do not appear as filter criteria - Recruiting Management

Symptom

Since Q4 2011, Candidate Relationship Management has allowed the association of Standard and/or Custom Generic Objects to the CRM Pool Extension. You can also use this associated generic objects as filter criteria when finding a Talent Pool. However, when a generic object is associated, it does not appear as a filter criteria in the talent pool listing page filter bar.

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting Management - All versions after b1902

Cause

After adding the attributes (in this case, the generic object) in the CRM Pool Extension, the metadata refreshes and the attributes start appearing afterwards. Metadata refresh usually take some time to complete.

Resolution

  1. To expedite the process on metadata refresh, the customer may use the following option:
    1. Go to Admin Center
    2. Search for the ODATA API Metadata Refresh and Export
    3. Click the Refresh button
  2. Once the refesh completes, you may verify if the attributes will now appear as filter criteria in the Talent Pool listing page. The additional attributes appear under the "Advanced" filter fields.
