Symptom

  • A connection to an Oracle replicate database goes down with the following error:

The DSI thread for database 'REPORADB.REPORADB' is started.
Message from server: Message: 1400, State 0, Severity 5 -- '[ statement ][ REPORADB ] ociStmt::Execute ORA-01400: cannot insert NULL into ("ORADB"."MYTABLE_STAGE"."HOME_DS_NAME")'.
THREAD FATAL ERROR #5049 DSI EXEC(219(1) REPORADB.REPORADB) - neric/dsi/dsiqmint.c(5185)

  • The error is encountered after migration from SRS 15.2 using DCO to SRS 16.0 SP03 PL06 using ECO.
