2757418 - Short Dump When Downloading Exported Files from Change Collector

When you download the file which was exported from Change Collector run, system throws short dump

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to Application and User Management work center
2. Select Change Collector view
3. Select the run which was executed
4. Open the Execution ID and go to Changes tab
5. Select Export

Cause for the issue is that the data volume limits crossed, due to which export functionality is not working. The reason for this is that excel allows a maximum size of 2 GB data. When this size is exceeded the dump occurs. This is an issue with excel which limits the file size to 2 GB. From our side the run is successful and one can see all the changes in the changes tab.

User need to split the condition to smaller groups to extract and then export so that the 2 GB size is not exceeded.
