2757419 - Error: ”Text Content has not been set for text of text ID” While Uploading Notes for Objects in Data Workbench

Your requirement is to add Notes to objects like Service Request, Tasks etc. using Data Workbench. Upon adding the Text Type code for Type_Code field and processing the file in Data Workbench, system throws error:

Text Content has not been set for text of text ID xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

*xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx represents the Text ID

*XYZ represents the Data Workbench object

SAP Cloud for Customer

1. Go to Data Workbench workcenter
2. Go to Import view
3. Select the radio button for Individual Object
4. Go to Insert tab
5. Go to Standard Object tab
6. Search for the Data Workbench object XYZ
7. Select Download Metadata
8. Fill data in the fields
9. Save the file
10. Select Next and Browse for the file
11. Select Upload
12. Choose Next
13. Select Import
14. In the Monitor tab, check for the respective Task ID
15. The records in the file have the Processing Error

There is no data provided in the Text field. Therefore, system is sending empty text to the object XYZ.

You may follow anyone of the below options to process the Import file:

Option 1: Delete the records in file for which you do not want to add Notes.

or

Option 2: Add Notes in the Text field for all the records in the file.
