Image/data in this KBA is from SAP internal systems, sample data, or demo systems. Any resemblance to real data is purely coincidental.

Environment

SuccessFactors - Integration center tool

Reproducing the Issue

Create your own SF integration center outbound interface in the starting entity EmpJob and select the field standardHours

Resolution

The lines that appears with the error message "Not a valid number" is because the data wasn't found in the Job Information portlet.

The field Standard Hours usually is configured as not mandatory in the Employee Central module and you might have some employees with this value resisted and some employees without this value registered / selected in the UI.

In the screenshot you can see:

  • employee rjones1 with the standard Hours field value = 40
  • employee rquigley1 with the standard Hours field value = Not a valid number  (that means, the employee rquigley1 do not have this data in the Job Information UI too).

The conclusion is, if the message Not a valid number appears that means your employee do not have this value registered in the UI and this is the expected behavior.
