2760267 - Appointment Activity is not shown in the Contact Overview of Attendees


When opening contact master data of an appointment's attendee, the appointment is not shown as an activity in the Overview page of that contact.

Reproducing the Issue

Prerequisite: you have already created an appointment with multiple attendees.

  1. Go to the Account Management work center.
  2. Go to the Activities view.
  3. Filter for All Appointments.
  4. Open the appointment ABC (ABC represents the appointment ID).

 You can see that the appointment is with account DEF (DEF represents the account ID) in Status Open and one of the attendees is contact XYZ (XYZ represents the contact ID).

  1. Navigate to the Involved Parties tab.
  2. Open contact of attendee XYZ.

You can see that on the Overview page of contact XYZ in the Activities section, appointment ABC is not displayed.


If an additional party is added as an attendee for an appointment, it is not displayed in the contact overview or fact sheet. Technically, this party is another attendee party and the party role will not be considered while saving data.

Only contacts who are maintained as contacts in the account master data of account DEF can see the appointment on the Overview page of their contact master data.


To show appointment ABC in the Overview page of contact XYZ, the contact XYZ has to be maintained as contact party in the account master data of account DEF.
